  • Manage the interrelationships between various systems, data, and other resources to ensure effective project planning and delivery.
  • Review and prepare tax returns to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax legislation and regulation.
  • Participate in a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends, and ideas are actively shared.
  • Plan and manage performance, skills development, succession, and talent management to improve performance and competence.
  • Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback, and request training where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' post-article experience as a Chartered Accountant (SA).
  • Relevant experience within the financial or accounting services industry will be advantageous.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in financial accounting, analysis, budgeting, and reporting are essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
  • Prior experience with IFRS reporting will be advantageous, especially IFRS9 experience.
