Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure successful implementation of Agile methodologies in software projects, aligning with business needs and strategic goals.
  • Provide expert guidance to software project teams on process, system, tools, methods, communication, integration, and team dynamics.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders, facilitating collaboration across multiple groups with varying needs and wants.
  • Build professional relationships through regular communication and feedback with stakeholders, using quality metrics and project status reports.
  • Ensure accurate cost estimation and manage project budget within project scope.
  • Deliver projects on target within due date, budget, and scope, adhering to project governance.
  • Ensure traceability of defined benefits throughout the project lifecycle and escalate any deviations.
  • Manage scope, including coverage of client requirements and estimations.
  • Meet requirements by advising clients on the most appropriate project management approach, identifying stakeholders, and defining their roles and participation.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement strategies through the project plan and conduct business change impact assessments.
  • Keep clients and management informed and ensure the change management process is led and supported with the client.
  • Ensure client needs are accurately captured in scope and signed off by stakeholders.
  • Perform post-implementation reviews and retrospectives as required.
Requirements:
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Professional Qualifications/Honour's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NQF level 7 qualification or Honours degree in Project Management or Business management
Essential Certifications:
  • Relevant certification in PM practices or methodology (PRINCE/ PMBOK ETC)
Preferred Certifications:
  • Project Management or Business Management, Certified Scrum
  • SAFe certified
Minimum Experience Level:
  • 5-8 years working experience in project environment, with 5 years in a PM role
