Debtors Clerk Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Debtors Clerk to join our team at Professional Resources Partners Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the debtors function, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts receivable and manage the debtors function
  • Implement effective credit control measures to minimize bad debt
  • Compile and analyze aged debt reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and ensure timely payment
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to promote a positive payment culture
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of debtors transactions

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in debtors or credit control
  • Recent experience with Pastel or similar accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
