Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at The Building Company in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse economic stability and provide financial information to other departments, enabling them to make informed budgeting and investment decisions.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated group trial balance, quarterly accounting and tax packs, and annual financial statements for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
  • Develop and implement effective treasury management strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize risk.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • MATRIC (Grade 12) with a BCom degree advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Compensation Package:

The salary range for this position is approximately R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement fund contributions, and paid leave.
