Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating learning, teaching, and research with undergraduate and postgraduate radiography students. This will involve creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment, developing and delivering curriculum, and conducting clinical teaching and assessment at accredited training facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the learning and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate radiography students.
- Conduct clinical teaching and assessment at accredited training facilities.
- Perform academic administrative duties.
- Facilitate academic engagement.
- Participate in research activities in the department.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Radiography or other relevant masters degree.
- PhD registration or qualification as an advantage.
- Professional registration and CPD involvement.
- Registration as a Radiographer with the HPCSA.
- Proven record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Experience.
- At least 2 to 6 years experience in lecturing Radiography to under- and/or postgraduate students, and relevant working experience in a clinical Radiography environment.
- Research experience and a proven track-record of research supervision and recent DHET accredited publications.
