Job Title: Rural Estate Manager

Location: A secluded farm 25km outside Montagu

Salary: R650,000 - R750,000 per annum

About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Farm Manager to oversee operations at our developing guest farm near Montagu. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency, and providing leadership and guidance to staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all farm operations, including orchards, gardens, vegetables, livestock, game, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement production plans to optimise yield and quality
  • Manage and execute crop production tasks such as irrigation, fertilisation, pest control, and harvesting
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards while prioritising cost-efficiency and guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in stone fruit or similar agricultural operations
  • Experience in guest farm management is advantageous
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Strong work ethic, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven management and leadership capabilities
