Job Title: Komatsu Operator Trainer

Chainlink Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Komatsu Operator Trainer to join our client's team in Boksburg, East Rand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for operators on Komatsu equipment, focusing on safety and productivity.
  • Conduct over inspections to identify and rectify bad operating habits.
  • Provide weekly reports to the Training Coordinator, summarizing training completed and future training plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs and providing market intelligence.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and claims in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mining Engineering, Education, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in underground mining equipment operation and maintenance, with a focus on safety and productivity.
  • Experience developing and delivering training materials in a classroom and field setting.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and current training best practices.
  • Train the trainer qualification.
  • Driver's License.
  • Advanced Computer skills.
  • Passing Mine Medical Inductions is a requirement.
  • Government Certificate of Competency in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
