Job Description

**About the Role**

HR Genie is seeking a highly skilled Quality Controller to join our team. As a Quality Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards before they reach the market.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Inspect and Test Products**: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of products at various stages of the production process to ensure they meet the company's quality standards.
  • **Identify and Document Defects**: Identify and document any defects or deviations from specifications, and communicate findings to the production team.
  • **Develop and Maintain Quality Control Procedures**: Develop and maintain quality control procedures and ensure they are followed consistently throughout the production process.
  • **Collaborate with Production and Engineering Teams**: Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to resolve any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • **Conduct Regular Audits**: Conduct regular audits of the production process to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • **Maintain Accurate Records**: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.
  • **Provide Training and Guidance**: Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • **Monitor and Analyze Quality Control Data**: Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • **Ensure Compliance with Company Standards**: Ensure that all products are packaged and labeled according to company standards before shipment.
  • **Prepare and Present Quality Reports**: Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

**Requirements**

  • **Strong Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • **Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • **Good Communication Skills**: Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey quality issues to production teams.
  • **Proficiency in Quality Control Tools and Software**: Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
  • **Ability to Work Independently**: Ability to work independently and make decisions based on objective data.
  • **Strong Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • **Knowledge of Industry Standards and Regulations**: Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to quality control.
  • **Minimum of 3 Years of Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • **Familiarity with Quality Control Methodologies**: Familiarity with quality control methodologies, such as Six Sigma, ISO standards, or similar.
  • **Experience with Quality Control Software and Tools**: Experience with quality control software and tools.
  • **Certification in Quality Control**: Certification in Quality Control (e.g., CQI, CQA) is highly desirable.

**Qualifications**

  • **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
