Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator - Civil Projects

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our client’s team in Cape Town region. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in medium to large scale construction projects, with a good mix between building and civils project background.

Key Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil/Construction Management, or Engineering coupled with 5-10 years’ experience in the development of accurate, compliant and competitive tenders for medium to large greenfield and brownfield Civil and Building projects.
  • Certification in CCS is essential and an assessment will be conducted.
  • Proven experience in translating civil/building project documentation and productivities, understand the requirements of each project and be able to effectively use various scheduling, estimation and reporting software tools.
  • Ability to conduct risk analysis and ensure profitability.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, effective project management, and competitive pricing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication at all levels, and ability to work in a high pressure environment.
