Assistant Store Manager Opportunity

Pro Select Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and enterprising Assistant Store Manager to join their team in the CAVENDISH AREA. As a key member of the store team, you will be responsible for guiding and overseeing the store's day-to-day activities, aiming to surpass store targets, foster innovative initiatives, and elevate customer service standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Team Development: Assist in identifying training and coaching needs, emphasizing talent management and succession planning to ensure the store team's growth and development.
  • Recruitment and Performance Management: Assist in recruiting, administering, and managing store team performance in alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Experience: Implement customer experience processes to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, encompassing business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, visual standards, customer feedback, and general housekeeping.
  • Compliance: Enforce overall compliance by conducting thorough compliance checks through defined processes.
  • Sales and Brand Awareness: Explore and propose new opportunities to boost sales and enhance brand awareness.
  • Product Performance: Provide feedback on in-store product performance to the support centre, contributing to sales improvement.
  • Operational Planning: Collaborate with management on operational action plans, sales performance increase, and store expenditure monitoring based on sales and profitability reports.
  • Stock Management: Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns, ensuring effective stock management.
  • Stockroom Maintenance: Maintain the stockroom's overall upkeep to meet housekeeping standards.
  • Stock Levels: Manage stock levels through defined processes to mitigate risks and ensure adequate stock on hand.
  • Sales Floor Management: Accurately receive, unpack, merchandise, and replenish the sales floor to drive sales objectives.
  • Store Team Leadership: Assist to lead and drive the store team to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy, aligning with company values.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Assistant Store Management role and a clear credit and criminal record are required for consideration.
