About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our network and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including network devices and servers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Configure and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist with setting up user accounts, permissions, and passwords to ensure data security.
  • Evaluate complex issues and escalate them to higher-level IT support if necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Adhere to security protocols and best practices to safeguard company data.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems is necessary.
  • Familiarity with networking, Active Directory, and Office 365 is vital.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12) is a fundamental requirement.
  • An IT-related diploma or degree is advantageous.
  • A+, N+ Certification is preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100, MD-101) is beneficial.
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is advantageous for networking roles.
