Job Description:

The Senior Internal Auditor will provide independent assurance to Management and other stakeholders on the effectiveness of controls mitigating current and evolving risks, ensuring a culture of controls in all processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit Planning and Execution: Formulate audit strategies, plan periodical audits, and develop annual or rolling risk assessments and audit plans.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal reporting requirements, review business process plans, and cost-benefit analysis for expansion.
  • Risk Assessment and Control Evaluation: Identify significant control weaknesses, communicate these weaknesses to management, and document results according to audit department and IIA standards.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise others, ensure knowledge of and compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors' Code of Ethics, and contribute to year-end financial audits with external auditors.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Chartered Accountant, CIA and CISA certifications preferred, 5+ years post-qualification experience in Audit, up-to-date knowledge of IFRS statements, and expertise in Microsoft Office.
  • Professional Competencies: Technical and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, logical and precise thinking.
