DTP Pre-Press Designer

We are seeking a skilled DTP / Pre-Press Designer to join our team at Sandi Crowther Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of printing techniques and a keen eye for detail.

• Artwork Preparation: Prepare high-quality artwork for printing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Scheming and Colour Management: Scheming artwork for print and managing colour standards and swatches.
• Pre-Print Signoffs: Manage pre-print signoffs and ensure all artwork meets the required standards.
• Print Job Management: Coordinate print job bags for litho print operators and facilitate actual print signoffs.
• Product Design and Development: Create product designs using existing render and digital mockup software, and prepare product planograms and in-shelf renders.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field, or solid equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-press design or a similar role.
• Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), experience with RIP software and colour management systems, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Additional Requirements: Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, experience with various printing processes, and relevant certifications in pre-press or print production.
