Job Overview

Santam Insurance is seeking a skilled Underwriting Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising underwriting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise underwriting teams to ensure adherence to procedures and policies
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development
Requirements
  • Preferable: Degree or National Diploma (NQF 6) with attendance in Insurance programs (NQF 5)
  • FAIS compliance
  • Knowledge of the key outputs of the Personal Lines contact Centre
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
