Job OverviewThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are completed within budget and on schedule. This will involve preparing and analyzing cost estimates, managing project budgets, and conducting risk and value management.
About the Role- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for property development projects.
- Manage project budgets and monitor costs throughout the project life cycle.
- Conduct risk and value management and cost control.
- Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years' proven working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Property Industry.
- Professional Certification (e.g. RICS, CIOB) would be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of property development processes, construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
