Job Title: Senior Automotive Branch Manager

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to direct reports, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Develop and implement effective employee reviews, ensuring high-performing teams and individual contributors.
  • Monitor branch costs and expenditures, reconciling accounts as required to maintain financial integrity.
  • Establish and manage programs to achieve timely delivery of objectives, defining goals and measurements for success.

Branch Management:

  • Lead and motivate staff to meet sales targets, utilizing strong communication skills to drive results.
  • Foster a culture of customer satisfaction, focusing on exceptional service delivery and problem resolution.
  • Manage human resources effectively, adhering to company policies and employment laws while promoting diversity and inclusion.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies, forecasting revenue and costs to inform business decisions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to drive growth and profitability.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket parts industry, leveraging this expertise to optimize sales performance.

Customer Services:

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences, providing timely assistance and advice to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with customers through various channels, including telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and professionally.

Administrative Duties:

  • Oversee administration and internal controls, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and generate monthly reports, analyzing branch activities and informing business strategy.
  • Budgeting and forecasting will be your key focus, keeping the branch on track financially.

Logistics:

  • Coordinate supplies and services to meet agreed parameters, ensuring efficient delivery to customers.
  • Engage with suppliers and vendors to discuss product feedback and areas for improvement.
  • Timely correspondence management is essential to maintaining a positive reputation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in the automotive aftermarket industry, preferably in a senior management role.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with a proven track record of driving business growth and development.
  • Extensive knowledge of the industry, including business operations, market trends, and competitor analysis.

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent business acumen, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from staff to stakeholders.
  • A sound understanding of asset management, financial knowledge, and hands-on operating style.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
