Maintenance Manager Job Description

Kedar Heritage Lodge Conference Centre & Spa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team.

About Us:

Kedar Heritage Lodge, Conference Centre & Spa is a leading hospitality provider in the Northwest Province, committed to preserving the environment and promoting African art, culture, cuisine, and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans aligned with the property's vision.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and develop policies and procedures.
  • Manage the annual budget for preventative maintenance and reduce costs.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair work, including building repairs, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of equipment and tools.
  • Monitor maintenance and repairs for compliance with regulations and building codes.
  • Plan and maintain landscaping and grounds.
  • Develop and implement a cleaning schedule for common areas.
  • Ensure waste management and pest control.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of maintenance or facility management experience.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
