Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance processes for VMMC services.
  • Implement the Voluntary Male Circumcision Programme according to provincial and national guidelines.
  • Ensure a comprehensive package of VMMC services is available, including pre- and post-procedure care.
  • Mange VMMC related adverse events and participate in research projects relevant to the field.
  • Collaborate with outreach officers and social mobilisers to recruit clients effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field and ensure familiarity with relevant legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Clinical Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Medical Practice.
  • VMMC Training Course completion.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Public Health setting and 1 year in a surgical setting at a Medical Male Circumcision facility.
  • A valid driver's license.
