Toolmaker Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Toolmaker Specialist to join our team at Abantu Staffing Solutions. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering and press tool design.

As a Toolmaker Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, setting up, and maintaining press tools, as well as ensuring that all machines within the press shop environment are functioning properly.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Design and develop new press tools and make improvements to existing ones
• Set up and maintain press tools and machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with press tools and machines
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless production processes
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives

**Requirements**

• Grade 12/Matric certification or equivalent
• Trade-tested Tool Maker or related trade test
• 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a press shop department
• Knowledge of IATF Quality System and CAD drawings
• Able to work in 3D modeling programs and set up new tools

**Compensation**

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
