The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and a proven track record of implementing quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality control (QC) checks and generate reports for incoming and outgoing products
  • Sensory evaluation for incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality and for product improvement
  • Regular internal and external quality control and monitor their quality to provide timely feedback for improvement
  • Monitor shelf life and temperatures for raw materials
  • Inspect packaging and labels on all products before despatch
  • Inspect equipment for sanitation and integrity
  • Preoperational checks for hygiene and quality standards
Requirements:
  1. MATRIC with a degree in Food Science or relevant qualification
  2. At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry
  3. Practical experience supervising a team in day-to-day quality control/assurance, hygiene, health, and standards
  4. Knowledge of basic Food Safety, HACCP Implementation, line inspections, and housekeeping
  5. Basic computer literacy skills
  6. Leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  7. Task and quality-oriented with the ability to plan and organize
  8. Ability to build customer relations and resolve conflict
  9. Self-motivated and driven with strong integrity
  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  11. Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
  12. Willingness to work night shifts
