Key Objectives

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing individual psychosocial support to adolescents and young women in the City of Bojanala Sub District.
  • Ensuring successful enrolment into AGYW programs, identifying and addressing potential challenges.
  • Conducting regular home visits to assess progress and provide targeted support.
  • Facilitating group life-skills training sessions for adolescents and young women.
  • Coordinating and implementing parenting programs for parents of AGYW.
  • Maintaining accurate records of programme activities and outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve organisational objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in a related field (Development or Gender Studies).
  • Proven experience working on human rights/sexual reproductive health/TB and HIV/AIDS in the NGO or government sector.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with knowledge of Global Fund-supported districts.
  • Certificate in Social Auxiliary Work.
  • Registration with the South African Council for Social Services Profession (SACSSP).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
