The primary objective of this role is to procure raw materials, printed packaging, and components essential for our manufacturing operations. This involves managing inventory levels, cultivating positive relationships with suppliers, and facilitating the procurement of materials for new product launches.
To be successful in this position, you must possess strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with supply chain management software are also essential.
Key responsibilities include assisting in managing inventory levels, cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, supporting the New Product Development Team, executing the sourcing and supplying of production components, and identifying and sourcing alternative suppliers.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will conduct regular costing analysis to optimize procurement processes and drive cost efficiencies. You will also place orders for requirements as per the planned production schedule and update the ERP system with all changes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
