Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our team at Overberg Personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food products
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, stock management, and food safety
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking methods to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Gr 12 Hospitality qualification or equivalent
  • Chef qualification required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality/restaurant management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in Afrikaans and English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
