Assessor X3

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Assessor to join our team at Santam Insurance. As a key member of our motor claims department, you will be responsible for determining the quantum and merit of segmented motor claims.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in mechanical related studies or equivalent experience in motor assessing. You will also possess strong technical skills, policy wording interpretation, product training, and claim system training obtained through various training and courses.

As a Desktop Assessor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that claims are settled efficiently and effectively. Your duties will include quoting and assessing damage, deciding whether to replace/repair part/use aftermarket spares when warranty has expired, generating claims reports, and communicating outcomes with clients and intermediaries.
