Visual Merchandising Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual to fill the role of Visual Merchandising Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all store displays and visual merchandising elements meet the company's standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail visual merchandising principles and be able to apply this knowledge to create engaging and effective in-store displays. They will also be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting periodic store visits to ensure compliance with visual merchandising guidelines
  • Actioning merchandise checklists in-store
  • Providing feedback to the Operations team on findings
  • Collaborating with the Ops manager to develop corrective action plans as needed
  • Training and clarifying standards with sales teams
  • FOLLOWING UP to ensure full understanding and implementation
  • Checking stock levels across all departments per store and providing feedback to the Head Office
  • Visiting new stores before opening to ensure adherence to visual merchandising principles
  • Ensuring window display guidelines are implemented

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • 5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising retail management, with at least 2 years at Senior management level
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A creative and artistic aptitude with good hand-eye coordination
  • Planning and decision-making ability coupled with excellent listening and communication skills
  • MATRIC
  • Driver's license
  • Willingness to travel
  • Team player
