We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team at Newfort Specialised Unity. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and education to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote learning and development in children
  • Provide safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and learn
  • Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, and putting children to bed
  • Monitor children's health and well-being, and report any concerns to staff and parents
  • Work closely with parents to understand their child's needs and develop strategies to support their development
  • Ensure children are safe and secure at all times, and provide guidance and supervision as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Record of immunisations and ability to pass a background check
  • Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Strong understanding of childhood development and learning principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
