About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Operations Specialist to join our team at Acuity Consultants in Cape Town. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of R600,000 per annum.

Job Description

As a Cyber Security Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our Cyber Security Operations services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring and monitoring critical security infrastructure, including PKI, Anti-Virus, Vulnerability Management, and Security Configuration Management.
  • Enhancing Data Leakage Prevention, NAM, and PAM processes.
  • Managing Privileged Account Management processes and Network Access Control, including exception handling.
  • Conducting Vulnerability Scanning, proposing remediation actions, and tracking compliance.
  • Ensuring Security hardening baseline compliance through regular scanning and remediation efforts.
  • Issuing, renewing, and revoking PKI digital certificates as needed.
  • Assessing internet and email use upon request from Forensics or HR departments.
  • Reviewing and reporting on Firewall rule configurations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Information Security certification.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on technical experience, including network experience, operating system management, Anti-Virus System management, Data Leakage Prevention tool configuration, Logical Access Management, Information Security Operations, and Vulnerability Management.
