About Us

Our client values innovation and results-driven professionals who can enhance underwriting performance in various market segments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other pricing managers to manage stakeholder expectations and foster collaboration.

Main Responsibilities

* Manage team workload within established service level agreements
* Oversee pricing basis review projects and ensure timely delivery
* Develop and maintain data sources and price monitoring reports
* Maintain modeling standards and drive best practices
* Recruit, train, and manage team performance while fostering company culture

Requirements

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and VBA automation
* Skilled in SAS, SQL, and QlikView; adept at reconciling data
* Experienced with pricing modeling software (e.g., WTW, Earnix)
* Strong knowledge of GI actuarial pricing concepts and portfolio management
* Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science
* Progress toward actuarial exams and relevant qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years in GI insurance pricing; other actuarial experience is a plus
* Proven ability to advise senior management and manage diverse teams
* Effective time management and prioritization
* Strong planning and coordination abilities
* Data-driven decision-making and change management

Estimated Salary: R1,200,000 per annum
