Our upmarket hotel and conference center in the heart of Pretoria is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mixologist Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the hospitality industry, with strong knowledge of beverages and wine. They will be responsible for providing a high-quality and consistent service to both internal and external customers.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintaining working knowledge of employee handbooks, policy, and procedure manuals
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a clean and organized bar environment
- Managing bar inventory and ensuring the bar is well-stocked at all times
- Cash handling and maintaining a high level of personnel hygiene and appearance
To succeed in this role, you will need good communication skills, the ability to work long hours, night shifts, and weekends, and be a good team player. You will also require strong beverage and wine knowledge, as well as skills in cocktail and specialty coffee making.
