Creative Sourcing seeks an experienced Supply Chain Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing engineering spares for our Johannesburg South plant/stores and production process.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering spares procurement, a strong understanding of supply chain management, and excellent communication skills.

You will work closely with our Production Planner to ensure timely order placement and delivery of direct goods. Your role will also involve forging strong relationships with suppliers, sourcing new cost-saving initiatives, and collaborating with our Quality Control team to approve new suppliers.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Purchase Engineering Spares for Johannesburg South plant/stores and production process
  2. Collaborate with Production Planner for order placement and delivery of direct goods
  3. Liaise with suppliers to forge strong working relationships and source cost-saving initiatives
  4. Work with Quality Control team to approve new suppliers
  5. Support indirect spend Purchase Orders such as Engineering spares
Requirements:
  1. 3-5 years of relevant engineering spares procurement experience
  2. Degree in procurement/supply chain/business management or CIPS
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
