At Standard Bank of South Africa Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist to shape our climate risk management framework, policies, and minimum standards.
As a key member of our team, you will provide subject matter expertise in quantifying, reporting, and managing the Business Unit portfolio climate risk profile. Your deep understanding of key financial risk types, such as Credit or Market risk, will enable you to effectively guide senior leaders in making informed decisions.
We require at least 8 years of experience in quantitative model development, with a proven track record of providing expert advice and guidance. Additionally, you should have extensive knowledge of key risk management tools, measurement techniques, portfolio stress testing, scenario analysis, regulatory frameworks, and model development and validation.
Experience in integrating and quantifying ESG risks is also essential. If you are passionate about shaping climate risk management and have the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this challenging role.
