Financial Director

Kencorp is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance to senior management and ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, in accordance with South African Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, monitor budget performance, and provide variance analysis reports to identify areas of concern or improvement.
• Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and corporate income tax, and stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow projections, manage cash balances, and oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to minimize outstanding balances and optimize working capital.
• Financial Strategy: Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, evaluate investment opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

• CA (SA) qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Financial Manager role
• Strong knowledge of South African GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proven leadership and team management skills
