Nurse Collector

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nurse Collector - Blood Service at South African National Blood Service. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing donors and collecting blood according to standard operating procedures.

This position involves assessing donors, performing blood collections, and achieving collection targets. You will also be responsible for managing clinic staff, ensuring quality and risk compliance, and providing excellent customer relations.

You must have a strong background in nursing, including a Registered Professional Nurse (RPN) qualification and BLS certificate. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse and be registered with SANC. A valid code 8 or 10 driver's license is also essential.

The ideal candidate will be able to work varied hours, including overtime, weekends, and evenings, and be willing to travel as required. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
