Signage Production Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our client's production team in Paarden Eiland. As a seasoned professional with 5-7 years' experience in a management position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of signage production, including production planning, staff management, and quality control.

1. Managing factory employees (approx. 30+ staff)
2. Overseeing all aspects of signage production from inception to completion
3. Production planning in each department and ensuring adequate scheduling of work/hours/staff
4. Monitor and manage time and motion of factory employees
5. Ensuring every job is completed on time and in full with all quality standards met
6. Ensuring production equipment is working and maintained regularly
7. Ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times and/or developing new SOPs if and when required
8. Ensuring all staff is trained and to organise training if and when required
9. Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are met and in line with South African legislation
10. Regularly presenting feedback to management on all issues related to production manager's role
11. Ensuring there is responsible waste control
12. Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
13. Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team
14. Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications
