Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Portfolio Analyst to deliver impactful portfolio investment analysis and reporting for asset owners, managers, and service providers. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients, building strong relationships to meet their needs.

The role involves supporting data processing and management, handling large volumes of portfolio and market data on a daily basis. You will retrieve, validate, and analyze data to produce insightful reports for key deliverables, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Additionally, you will create client reports and provide valuable advisory insights while maintaining data confidentiality.

Collaboration is key, and you will work with team members to review reports, verify statistics, and respond to queries, ensuring high-quality output. We encourage continuous improvement by suggesting new ideas for tools, processes, and technical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Finance.
  • Interest in pursuing CIPM, FRM, or CAIA certification.
  • Graduate-level position or someone with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and safeguarding of sensitive client data.
  • Experience handling large volumes of portfolio and market data.
  • Good understanding of portfolio and instrument-level information.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and MS Power BI as a plus.
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Awareness of industry trends and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team, with initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work long hours when required to meet deadlines.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
