Key Responsibilities

Category Analysis & Insights :

  • Analyze and interpret key account and channel-level data from various sources to identify category opportunities.
  • Track customer performance vs. KPIs, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support new product development with data-driven insights and compelling category arguments.
  • Provide regular category performance updates and recommendations to drive growth.

Manage and support customer category range reviews to optimize product assortment.

  • Leverage insights to influence range, distribution, and space planning.
  • Work closely with brand and sales teams to execute category strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Support the development and implementation of category plans with key retail partners.

Utilize shopper insights to create effective planograms and in-store initiatives.

  • Work with Customer Marketing to develop shopper-friendly fixturization, POS materials, and other in-store activations.

Requirements

Educational Background :

BCom Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.

Experience & Skills :

Minimum 2 years' experience in an analytical role, preferably within the FMCG sector.

  • Strong data analysis, interpretation, and management skills.
  • Proficiency in external market data software (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) is advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
