Cybersecurity Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team as an Incident Response Specialist. This role is responsible for providing proactive and reactive security monitoring, analysis, and incident response services to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor and analyze security-related events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and efficient manner, following established procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to share threat intelligence and best practices.
• Develop and implement incident response plans and playbooks to ensure effective response to security incidents.
• Provide training and awareness programs to end-users on security best practices and incident response procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and advise on new tools and techniques to enhance security posture.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and threat hunting.
• Advanced knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and strategically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities and deadlines.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred.
