Job Title: Armed Tactical Response Officer

At The Legends Agency, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Tactical Response Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing armed protection, quick emergency response, and ensuring the safety of clients, properties, or assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Armed Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols in assigned areas, monitor and ensure the security of premises, and respond to suspicious activities or breaches.
  • Rapid Response to Incidents: Respond quickly to emergency alarms, armed intrusions, or distress signals from clients, and evaluate the situation to decide on necessary actions.
  • Armed Protection and Firearms Handling: Maintain and carry legal firearms at all times while on duty, ensure proper use and management of firearms according to South African laws and regulations, and safeguard the lives of clients, employees, and assets.
  • Technical Surveillance: Use advanced security equipment, monitor live security feeds, and perform regular checks and maintenance of technical security systems.
  • Client Liaison and Communication: Maintain constant communication with clients, prepare detailed reports on security incidents, and coordinate with internal teams or law enforcement agencies when necessary.
  • Compliance with Legal and Safety Standards: Adhere strictly to the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) standards and firearms regulations, maintain all required certifications, and stay updated on changes in safety and security regulations.
  • Conflict Management and Threat Deescalation: Use conflict resolution techniques to diffuse tense situations, follow best practices for threat assessment, and use the appropriate level of force to ensure public and personal safety.
  • Physical Fitness and Tactical Training: Maintain high levels of physical fitness, undergo ongoing training in weapons handling, tactical response, first aid, and emergency procedures.
