Senior Financial Planner

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Paraplanner to join our team at HR Genie. As a Senior Paraplanner, you will provide support to our Senior Private Wealth Manager in the development and maintenance of client financial plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in researching and analyzing clients' financial situations, goals, and objectives.
- Prepare and compile financial analysis reports, including cash flow analysis, investment projections, retirement planning, and risk management.
- Develop comprehensive financial plans that meet clients' needs and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial legislation and regulations throughout the financial planning process.
- Support the Senior Private Wealth Manager in reviewing clients' files and identifying planning opportunities.
- Senior Certificate, relevant diploma/degree, or equivalent qualification.
- Certifications: First Level Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5); First Level Regulatory Exam for Key Individuals (RE1).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in paraplanning, financial planning, and/or advising.
- Detailed knowledge of the South African financial market in the advisory space.
- Detailed knowledge of South African providers.
- Knowledge of offshore providers is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and strategies.
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
