Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Financial Specialist to join our team at Emporium Human Capital. As a key member of our accounting function, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily transactions and manage accounts payable and receivable with precision and accuracy.
  • Assist clients with invoicing and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounting function.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and annual external audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Internship or previous experience in an accounting role is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS.
  • Working towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, etc.
  • Excellent proficiency in Xero and MS Excel.
