Role Overview:

This role involves leading the accounting team at VTS Global, driving the financial strategy, and contributing to the success of our brands. As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the financial complexities of a company with physical inventory, streamlining operations across various brands and product categories.

You will drive improvements in accounting systems and processes, playing a pivotal role in our continued growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth, optimize cash flow, and manage costs
  • Leadership and Team Development: Hire, lead, and manage a team of 4+ accounting professionals, ensuring their growth and performance
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control: Oversee all financial aspects of physical inventory management, working closely with operations to manage inventory cycles, COGS, and cost control
  • Tech Implementation and Process Improvement: Lead the implementation and integration of accounting systems and automation tools
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax laws, and effective audit management
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis: Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable insights for business growth
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with supply chain, operations, and other departments to align financial processes with business objectives
  • Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of financial projects, from software implementation to process optimization
  • KPI Monitoring and Reporting: Implement systems to track and report on financial KPIs, leveraging data to inform strategic decisions
