  • Prepare Tender and Contract Documents: You will assist in preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, and ensure they meet the requirements of our clients.
  • Quantifying Bills of Quantities: You will accurately quantify bills of quantities and price/forecast the cost of materials needed for projects.
  • Evaluate Tenders and Negotiate with Subcontractors: You will evaluate tenders from subcontractors and negotiate terms where necessary.
  • Analyse Drawings and Track Contract Design Document Changes: You will analyse drawings and track contract design document changes to adjust budget projections accordingly.
  • Monitor Project Progress: You will monitor and keep track of project progress, ensuring that it stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Measurement and Valuation of Variations: You will measure and value variations in the work during construction.
  • Financial Cost Control: You will maintain control over financial costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Certification of Subcontractor Accounts: You will certify subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You should have at least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying in the building and construction industry.
  • Education: You should hold a degree in quantity surveying.
  • Skills: You should possess strong negotiation and reporting skills, as well as highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
