About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our dedicated team at Level-Up. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our enabling software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing on various software applications, ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance meet specified requirements.
  • Test Case Development: Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans based on software requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand software features and requirements.
  • Test Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation and reports.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, verifying bug fixes and ensuring their resolution.
  • Automated Testing: Implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for regression and functional testing.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance, load, and stress testing, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing tools and technologies.
  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the development process.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven 3-5 years experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems and bug tracking systems.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and documentation skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Certifications: ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
