Dis-Chem Pharmacies, a reputable healthcare provider, seeks a skilled Pharmaceutical Care Specialist to join their team in Hartbeespoort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for patients' medicine-related needs and being accountable for meeting these needs.
  • Assist with the sale of Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 medicines or scheduled substances.
  • Compound, manipulate, or prepare non-sterile medicines or scheduled substances according to approved formulas and standard operating procedures.
  • Manufacture non-sterile medicines or scheduled substances according to approved formulas and standard operating procedures.
  • Re-package medicine and assist with distribution and control of stock.
  • Order medicine and scheduled substances according to authorized instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic Pharmacist Assistance qualification
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
  • Working experience on Unisolv
  • Computer literate
  • MS Office skills
  • Sound numerical skills
  • Strong command of English and a second language
