Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and Maintenance: Conducts repairs and service maintenance work on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Equipment Installation: Installs and commissions plant equipment, guaranteeing smooth operation and minimal downtime.
  • Inspections and Troubleshooting: Conducts running inspections, diagnosing faults, and implementing corrective action to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Performs scheduled and planned maintenance on treatment plant equipment, including pumps, screens, feeders, winches, conveyor belts, magnetic separators, cyclones, etc.
  • Efficiency Improvement: Carries out work processes and monitors progress to improve efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Technical Reporting: Provides accurate information and feedback in accordance with laid-down planned maintenance standards.
  • Deviation Reporting: Reports on all technical matters and deviations to the supervisor, ensuring timely updates and feedback.
  • Materials Management: Supports materials management in achieving availability of materials, spares, and components at all times to minimize downtime.
  • Abnormality Resolution: Attends to abnormalities and updates technical work logs with detailed information.
  • Work Request Submission: Submits work requests for approvals as per the Operating Model Principles.
  • Liaison with Supervisor: Liaises with the supervisor on the delivery of requirements for every work package, ensuring timely completion and quality output.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in plant maintenance, with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. A solid understanding of mechanical systems and equipment is essential.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £35,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.
