We are seeking a highly skilled Small Business Advisor Specialist to join our team at the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing business development services to micro and small enterprises.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing relevant business advisory services and information to micro and small enterprises.
- Conducting business diagnostics using relevant tools.
- Facilitating and managing the implementation of interventions and business growth strategies.
- Monitoring and evaluating the improvement of client business position.
Requirements
- Matric (NQF Level 4) plus Diploma or Certificate (NQF Level 5) in Business Management/Commerce/Engineering/Project Management.
- 3 – 4 years' relevant work experience, where at least 2 years' experience as a business consultant/manager/business owner.
- Critical competencies include customer orientation, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, high ethical standards, analytical skills, time management, goal orientation, teamwork, planning and organizing, project management, decision-making, and financial and business acumen.
