About the Role

This position involves planning and coordinating delivery routes, collections, and deliveries within the required time frame to provide excellent customer service. You will be responsible for managing emails and telephonic communication with clients, working according to client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and monitoring drivers' activities and routes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Communication: Manage emails and telephonic communication with clients, providing timely feedback.
  2. Procedure Adherence: Work according to client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and procedures.
  3. Route Planning: Monitor drivers' activities and routes to prevent route deviations and/or time delays, ensuring excellent customer service.
  4. Container Release: Conduct bulk checks on Navis to ensure all containers are assigned and released for collection.
  5. Holds Clearance: Ensure there are no holds on containers.
  6. Container Information: Provide expected container lists to ICS and outside customers.
  7. Truck Booking: Book trucks for IDMs when ICS or other customers require trucks to load.
  8. ETA Updates: Provide truck ETA's and any delays.
  9. Appointment Scheduling: Make appointments for collection of LCL cargo.
  10. Vehicle Allocation: Plan truck and trailer CORs when the Transport Manager advises.
  11. Vehicle Tracking: Monitor vehicles via Bid track.
  12. Document Management: Upload all documentation onto TMS (Customer Instructions and driver trip sheets).
  13. Compliance: Ensure all drivers comply with safety regulations and Company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
