Bookstore Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bookstore Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our bookstore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a vibrant atmosphere that encourages reading, learning, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and customer service, with a strong background in retail management. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the bookstore, including stockholding, sales, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the bookstore's stockholding and sales
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
• Lead and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints
• Manage the bookstore's finances, including budgeting and forecasting
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and publishers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management role
• Strong knowledge of literature and customer service
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
