    • Petty Cash & Procurement Cards
    • Payroll Journals
    • Ad hoc Journals
  • Capture additions (New assets) and disposal in the Fixed Assets register.
  • Calculate and process monthly depreciation.
  • Agree Fixed Assets register with Trial Balance and Syrinx Asset Listing.
  • Compile list of disposals & additions.
  • Administration of Insurance claims.
  • Collate and prepare necessary documentation for claims.
  • Communicate progress of claims to all stakeholders.
  • Reconcile Stock Valuations Monthly.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and submit within due dates.
  • Run a BEE report to ensure supplier BEE Status updated.
  • Send out Night outs and Fuel report to HR.
  • Creditors Recons:
    • Review and sign off Monthly Creditors Recons.
    • Expense Ledger Analysis-Computer Expenses, Legal Fees, Consulting Fees, Repairs and Maintenance, Subscription Fees and General Expenses.
  • And any other ad hoc Projects.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' financial accounting experience, inclusive of financial reporting and reconciliations
  • Experienced in working on SAGE or similar software
  • Strong Excel Skills
