About the Role:

Mascor, a leading company in the automotive, agricultural mechanization, construction, forestry, and fuel industries, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Puma fuel court and OK Express store in Dalton, KZN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Market Share: Manage and direct the driveway and c-store operations to maximize market share and improve efficiency.
  • Customer Service: Ensure outstanding customer service while controlling costs and profitability.
  • Employee Management: Recruit, train, and motivate employees to increase turnover and market share.
  • Performance Management: Responsible for performance management, including employee performance reporting and code of good practice enforcement.
  • Operational Management: Enforce operating procedures, service delivery, and company policies.
  • Financial Management: Manage daily operations, including customer service and finance activities, and make improvements as needed.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic risks and opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry policies and procedures.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and oversee sales and marketing strategies to increase the overall productivity of the branch.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Grade 12, ideal Diploma in Business Management.
  • Experience: 5-10 years' experience in the fuel and convenience store industry.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of MS Office, databases, driveway operations, shift work, and franchise standards.
  • Skills: Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, management skills, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility in assignments, working hours, and tasks.

Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a market-related salary. The ideal candidate will be based in Dalton and will be responsible for managing the Puma fuel court and OK Express store.
